Review: Under Different Stars

Under Different Stars
Under Different Stars by Amy A. Bartol
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Under Different Stars is my first introduction to Amy Bartol’s work. Sooo many of my friends have been talking about the series that I was deliriously happy to be able to read it through NetGalley. I am so happy to have taken the plunge!

I’m going to try to keep this as short and spoiler free as possible. Let me start off by saying that Kricket is a little bad-a. I totally love her! She’s had a difficult time being tossed around the foster system, but she doesn’t use it as an excuse to wallow in self pity. Then she’s kidnapped and taken back to her home…another planet where all hell is about to break loose. This novel is immersive. The world building incredible. The character development superb. I love everything about this story! I absolutely cannot wait until the second novel comes out, but I suppose I’m going to have to. I would recommend Under Different Stars to anyone who likes books. If you’re reading this, that means YOU! *****FIVE STARS*****

I reviewed an advance copy through NetGalley.
