Review: Rose and Helena Save Christmas

Rose and Helena Save Christmas
Rose and Helena Save Christmas by Denise Grover Swank
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When you have the likes of Jana DeLeon and Denise Grover Swank writing together… nothing can go wrong. Unless you’re their characters!

If you’re familiar with either author, you should already know you’re in for a treat. If this is your first introduction to either the Ghost-in-Law or Rose Gardner universes, you’ve picked the correct place to start! It’s also a fantastic place for Denise’s Rose Gardner Mystery readers to get a much-needed diversion from the chaos of Henryetta, AR.

You don’t need a whole lot of background from either series to pick up and enjoy the fun. There’s nothing better than a vacation, until you pile a murder on top of it. This novella is one hilarious romp as Rose , Neely Kate, Helena, and Taylor work together to solve the murder of a psychic in NOLA (where Jana Deleon’s stories typically take place.) As much as I love Rose and Neely Kate… Helena and Taylor are the highlight of this novella. I would LOVE for Denise and Jana to write a full-length novel together. It doesn’t have to be these two book universes colliding, but that would be fun to see again. *****FIVE STARS*****
